Progressive failure model for 3D analysis of FRP structures

In our Resources page, you will find a UMAT (user-defined material model) developed in the CORE Group. This UMAT was developed for integration with the ABAQUS FEA software suite, implementing a novel progressive failure model for the 3D simulation of pultruded FRP structures. With this approach, it is possible to model the orthotropic laminates as a homogeneous material. You may find more information in the UMAT page.
